Team Walk Up Snowdon
March 1st saw the Vantage team take on the challenge of climbing Snowdon, aptly on St David’s Day!
As part of Vantage’s drive for a healthy team and to further build on our team spirit, five of the team headed over to Wales and took on two of the more difficult trails.
Starting off from the Pen Y Pass Youth Hostel (highly recommended by the team!) the more gentle starting Miner’s Trail was embarked upon.
Lead Director Paul Wood’s Land Rover obsession was soon fed as the team found the mountain rescue vehicle by the Llyn Llydaw reservoir.
Hopefully Vantage’s own Land Rover Lizzy isn’t too jealous!
We deliver a range of exceptional services
The path turned into a proper scramble up steep rocks and gave the team a good work out as they burst through the mist to the summit.
A fellow hiker was kind enough to take a photo of all five of our explorers at the summit.
With the café and train closed over the winter months, the team walked back down the equally challenging Pyg Trail back to the Youth Hostel.
A great walk and a chance to sample the fresh Welsh air to ready us for another busy week at Vantage.
The team are already looking forward to our next expedition.
Ever the surveyors, the team even did an impromptu building inspection at the summit!
